Personal and Professional Consultation

While most individuals possess the tools to properly navigate daily life, I acknowledge that the inherent nature of the human experience means that there will often come a time where a refinement of these skill-sets is needed.  An outside advisor becomes necessary as a confidential sounding board, offering a space where both challenges and successes can be discussed candidly, and in turn, immediate feedback can be provided, free of judgement. This enables the individual to fine tune the factors that culminate into optimal living.

Appreciating the unique demands of each individual’s situation, I work one on one to equip you with the tools necessary to navigate all aspects of life and increase your individual influence on the outcome of your life.

With over a decade of corporate management and HR experience, I combine this knowledge with my educational background to address both personal and professional aspects of one's life.

I am available for appointments in person, Skype, telephone, or in some cases, I can come to you, regardless of where you live, for a day or weekend intensive. Please contact me at

Emotional Intelligence/Mindfulness Training

Jason Ickovitz, MA, LMFT, andI created an emotional intelligence and mindfulness training for businesses, leaders, and athletes that is tailored specifically for each demographic. Each training incorporates mindfulness techniques in order to effectively train each individual or group on Daniel Goleman's five core concepts of emotional intelligence; self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.

Research suggests that both mindfulness and emotional intelligence are associated with increased health, reduced stress, and yield more effective leaders.

Character Consultation

I provide psychological character consultation for actors, writers, directors, and industry professionals who would like to further develop and/or understand the character they are portraying.

I support the client to develop the psychology of the character by first understanding how the client sees the character through their lens and then by combining this understanding with a psycho-education of the character's psychological mind-state.

For actors specifically, I provide support for the client in order to ease into and out of character; meaning there may be aspects of the character or the scene that are more challenging than others, or may trigger something that creates a roadblock to the full development and authenticity of the character. This process oftentimes involves getting to know the client on a more personal and intimate level.Through an interactive and collaborative effort with the client, I work to uncover thoughts and feelings in order to work toward a better understanding of self so that the client can embody the character fully.

I am available for consultation by appointment via Skype, telephone, or in person.
